While we are already moving rapidly back towards winter and preparations for the upcoming season are in full swing, we’re also looking back on a very special summer. This year, for the first time, we left our mark in Swedish Lapland far away from snow, ice, and sub-zero temperatures.
While things usually quiet down a bit during the summer months, our Alpha One crew was anything but lazy. Over the past few months, the first steps were taken for our future summer program.
A very special highlight is our new Floating House. Situated right on the water, it’s a place where the hustle of everyday life takes a break for a moment, allowing you to enjoy nature and simply unwind completely.
The first guests were already here this summer and got to test out our new program. It quickly became clear: Alpha One works just as well without snow.
On land, you’ll ride motocross bikes and ATVs across the terrain, past forests, along gravel roads, and through the vast open spaces around Arvidsjaur. On the water, motorized SUPs and jet skis provide speed and excitement. And for those who want to experience Lapland from a completely new perspective, head up one level higher and discover Arvidsjaur from the air. Forests, water, and endless expanses as far as the eye can see.
Of course, you don’t always have to go full speed ahead. If you’d rather take it easy, you can spend the day fishing, paddle a canoe across the lake, or simply retreat to our Floating House, far away from appointments, traffic, and the daily grind.
In the evening, everyone comes together again: in our new barbecue hut or around the campfire under a sky that feels a little wider up here than anywhere else. It is exactly this blend of adventure, nature, community, and slowing down that will define our Alpha One summer experience going forward.
Now our attention is turning back to winter. The days are getting shorter, the temperatures are dropping, and soon the landscape around Arvidsjaur will once again transform into the white playground we know so well.
But one thing is certain: when the snow melts again next year, the adventure will continue.
We look forward to showing you not only our Winter Experiences but also the Swedish summer, Alpha-One-style.
